Meet The Chefs
We're thrilled to welcome three exceptional chefs to Keizer Culinair for this special Asian Day.
Norman Musa brings award-winning expertise in Malaysian cuisine, from cooking as race chef for the Formula One Lotus Team to authoring five cookbooks, including the bestselling Amazing Malaysian and Maleisië for the Dutch market — he's also the founder of the Asian Cooking Academy in London.
Rak Patel, co-founder of the Asian Cooking Academy and creator of MySpiceTin, shares the authentic Indian recipes passed down from his grandmother, teaching fun, hands-on masterclasses rooted in real family tradition.
And Marni Xuto, a Bangkok-born chef and founder of Thai Food Made Easy, brings her passion for accessible, inclusive Thai cooking, backed by features with the BBC and a 2025 Yan-Kit So Award finalist nod.
Together, they're bringing three distinct culinary traditions under one roof — we can't wait to have them in our kitchen.

Award-winning Malaysian chef Norman Musa was born in Penang and moved to the UK to study Quantity Surveying. After 10 years in construction, he made a full-time career switch to food, opening 3 restaurants in Manchester.
Norman now spends his time promoting Malaysian cuisine worldwide. He has cooked as race chef for the Formula One Lotus Team and served as Kuala Lumpur Food Ambassador to the European market.
On screen he’s appeared on MasterChef Malaysia, BBC2’s Tom Kerridge’s Best Ever Dishes, Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, and John Torode’s Malaysian Adventure. He also hosted 5 seasons of his own cooking show in Malaysia.
He is the author of 5 cookbooks, including bestseller Amazing Malaysian and Maleisië for the Dutch market. Norman is co-creator of the Wagamama Chef Academy and founder of the Asian Cooking Academy in London.
Based in London, he runs a twice-yearly residency at The King & Co, Clapham, and hosts cookery events in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Brussels.

Marni Xuto is a Thai chef, recipe developer and food writer based in the UK. Born and raised in the heart of Bangkok, she launched Thai Food Made Easy in 2017 to share accessible, inclusive Thai cooking.
A BBC Food contributor and Guild of Food Writers member, Marni has worked with brands including Kenwood, Cobra Beer and ProWare Kitchen. She teaches Thai cookery at School of Wok, demos at the Great British Food Festival, and hosts cook-along classes. She is also a 2025 Yan-Kit So Award finalist with the Oxford Cultural Collective.

Rak Patel is Co-Founder of the Asian Cooking Academy and specialist in Indian cuisine. He is also the founder of MySpiceTin, creating authentic garam masala and chai masala blends by hand using family recipes passed down from his grandmother.
A food and recipe content creator, Rak teaches fun, hands-on Indian masterclasses focused on layering fresh ingredients and spices the home way. He champions authentic Indian and fusion cooking, and runs classes with the ACA across London for public, corporate and private events.
